POL

POL es una marca de ropa creada por Paula de Andrés, una joven diseñadora que ha tenido la oportunidad de trabajar con Moisés Nieto asistiendo en el desarrollo en sus colecciones en la pasarela de la Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, a quien está muy agradecida porque fue el que la empujó a presentar su colección en esta pasarela y gracias a ello el día 22 de Febrero presentará su colección en EGO. Entre Moisés y Assaad Awad (con quien ha colaborado en la Valencia Fashion Week) le están ayudando mucho y el segundo le hará parte de los complementos.

Es una marca definida sobre todo por el patronaje y los volúmenes, con los cuales si se trabaja minuciosamente se pueden crear formas más estudiadas que se adapten mejor a cualquier tipo de silueta. Se hallan contrastes entre tejidos, así hay prendas con peso y otras con más movimiento.

POL is a clothing brand created by Paula de Andrés, a young designer who has had the opportunity to work with Moisés Nieto assisting in the development of his collections in the runway of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, and who she is very graceful to for pushing her present her own collection and thanks to that on February 22nd she is presenting it at EGO. Between Moisés and Assaad Awad (whom she worked with at the Valencia Fashion Week) they are helping her a lot and the second one with make part of the accessories.

It´s a brand defined mostly by the pattern making, construction and volumes, which if you work with carefully you can create more studied forms that adapt better to all kinds of figures. You can find contrast in the fabrics, that way there are garments with more weight and others with movement.

Working Tuesday: Grey flowers

¡Buenos días! Otro martes más con un conjunto más adecuado para acudir a la oficina. Para el caso de hoy he escogido un vestido muy sencillo, de escote en “V” y corte imperio, con manga larga (aunque no la podáis apreciar). No sé exactamente de dónde es el vestido, porque fue un regalo de hace 3 años de una boutique del Barrio de Salamanca pero no sé cuál y no tiene etiqueta ni nada con el nombre. En cuanto al abrigo, el corte clásico es el mejor a la hora de ir al trabajo. Es sencillo y elegante.

Good morning! Another Tuesday with an outfit a little more appropriate to attend the office. For today´s case I´ve chosen a simple dress, with a “V” cleavage and an empire line, with long sleeves (although you can´t appreciate it). I don´t know exactly where the dress is from, it was a gift 3 years ago from a boutique in “Barrio de Salamanca” but I don´t know which one and it doesn´t have a tag or anything with the name. As for the coat, a classic cut is the best choice when it comes to going to work. It´s simple and elegant.

¡Bueno días! Comienza una semana más y hay que hacerlo con alegría y fuerza, como las canciones de las bandas musicales de los institutos americanos, de la cual parece que he sacado yo mi chaqueta. Me gusta como queda la combinación rojo, blanco y azul marino, así que así lo he hecho para esta ocasión, poniéndome la chaqueta con mis vaqueros rojos. Me gustan mucho los detalles de la chaqueta, como los botones principales, que se unen a través de una cadenita.

Good morning! We´re starting another week and we have to do so with a lot of energy and happiness, like the songs from the American institute marching bands, where it looks like I got my jacket from. I like the combination red, white and blue a lot, so that´s what I did for this occasion, wearing the jacket with my red jeans. I really like the details on the jacket, like the front buttons which to tie together with a small golden chain.

¡Hola! Ya ha pasado una semana más y cada vez va haciendo más frío, así que hay que abrigarse como se pueda y yo lo he hecho con este abrigo tan calentito y suave con estampado de leopardo. Lo he conjuntado con marrón, como el de las botas de piel que tengo desde hace un año y un jersey básico.

Hi! Another week has gone by and each time it gets colder and colder, so we have to keep ourselves warm however we can and I did so with this coat that is so warm and soft with a leopard print. I combined it with brown, like with the leather boots I´ve had for a year and a basic sweater.

Estrellas de la aristocracia

Aristocrazy es una marca de joyas creada en 2010 por Suarez como joyería “prêt-a-porter”. Al igual que hemos visto estrellas en todo tipo de prendas y complementos esta temporada, Aristocrazy también ha apostado por ellas luciéndolas en todas sus joyas.

Podemos encontrar piezas en plata o en oro y de distintos colores, con joyas desde cadenas con colgantes, collares con pavé (al igual que el resto de piezas exceptuando los colgantes), pulseras con gomas de colores, pulseras metálicas, anillos y pendientes. Sus precios oscilan entre los 39€ y los 79€.

Aristocrazy is a jewelry firm created in 2010 by Suarez as a brand of “prêt-a-porter” jewelry. The same way we´ve seen stars everywhere in all types of garments and accessories this season, Aristocrazy has gone with them as well to add them to their jewels.

We can find pieces in gold and silver and with different colors, with jewels from chains with pendants, necklaces with “pave” (the same as the rest of the pieces except for the chains), bracelets with colored bands, metallic bracelets, rings and earrings. Their prices go from 39€ up to 79€.
